Building a proper home for a widow

This darling woman had been living in between two house for years with just a corrugated metal roof to cover the alleyway that she called home. Her neighbors would throw their garbage, used toilets, and unwanted things out their windows and into her home.

The first step our team did was remove the garbage and debris. Then they erected walls and a roof to create a private and safe space for this woman who was living alone. As they worked, she sat and manned the neighborhood, making sure everyone stayed in line. She had clearly been an influential presence for many decades and is an integral part of the community. Now she will be able to enjoy a living space fit for a woman who has given and experienced so much.
