Our Work

As we research and develop projects, we work alongside community leaders to foster self-reliance and respect for cultural perspectives. We also coordinate with local political leaders to ensure our projects are not only approved, but also maintained by both the community as well as through all available resources. Through their input and careful research, we select projects that increase educational opportunties, increase regional hygiene and medical care, and foster opportunities for a better education through school and community center upgrades. We raise funds and work alongside the community which rallies the projects through completion, ensuring lasting ownership and maintenance of the projects long after Kove's involvement.

We are able to accomplish so much in a short period of time on our trips because 1) we have a long history in these areas and we have extensive in-country networks, and 2) we are able to leverage so much manpower coupled with experts in our group (both US and Ecuadorian) to pull off some pretty incredible projects. By dividing and conquering several projects and eliciting the help of the receiving community, we are able to magnify our efforts.

Beyond the humanitarian trips, our group sponsors kids to stay in school through educational scholarships. Scholarships give students uniforms, school supplies, after-school tutoring, and extracurricular activities to help them have all that they need to be successful.
